Performance Snapshot
United Nations Support Office in Somalia (2017-2021)
AMI was awarded Prime Contractor by the United Nations office in Somalia to operate and manage the UN Level 1+ medical facility located on Mogadishu International Airport. This included critical surge capacity including establishment of an ICU to UNSOS in response to COVID-19, coordinating with both UN and Somali officials. AMI successfully executed this for 5 years.
Mosul, Iraq (2017)
Deployment to the World Health Organization’s three Trauma and Maternity Hospitals. Case managers and social workers responsible for sorting out the transfer, follow on care and disposition of children and adults as they left facilities and were sent on to Irbil. Treated 47,890 patients with serious injuries, many of them children in pediatric units and assisted in the birth of 2,977 babies. Presided over hundreds of transfers in a very challenging and dynamic environment. Included roughly 30 staff members made up of expats and Iraqi nationals.
Beth Israel Mount Sinai Medical Center (2020)
Provided clinical staffing and project management support to care for a 100-bed COVID-19 care ward. The entire clinical solution was delivered in under 7 days. Patient acuities ranged from ICU care and monitored beds through to routine medical ward care.
San Mateo, California (2020)
AMI deployed in March of 2020 to provide critical care support to the county’s Alternate Care Sites. More importantly, AMI established and perfected a model for a medical task force strike team which assessed, tested, and stabilized outbreaks in skilled nursing facilities. AMI’s strike teams assessed over 450 facilities and tested roughly 8,500 individuals. Given this extensive experience AMI defined protocols and standard operating procedures for the collection and shipment of samples. This model allows AMI teams to mobilize quickly and effectively in an ever changing health environment.
Atlanta, Georgia (2021-2022)
Established within the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta in under 5 days, AMI is providing all clinical staffing and governance for a 200-bed COVID-19 field hospital. Patient acuities range from ICU to routine COVID-19 ward care. The facility is now being used as a vaccination clinic.
Government of the Netherlands in Aruba, St Maarten, and Curacao (2021-2022)
AMI was contracted by the Government of the Netherlands to support the islands of St Maarten, Aruba and Curacao with augmented ICU care for COVID-19 patients. AMI provides the clinical staff, medical equipment, pharmacy and consumable supplies. Our staff ranges from critical care physicians to ICU RNs and other support staff.
