James Crawford | Executive VP of Corporate Development & Administration (EVP-CD&A)

James became AMI Expeditionary Healthcare’s Chief of Staff in October of 2021. He joined AMI as a senior leader in March of 2021 supporting U.S. Clinical Services in the expanded efforts to provide COVID-19 testing and vaccination services to communities across the nation.

He brings to AMI an admirable mix of skills and experience as a senior leader, including over 15 years of direct experience managing international development programs, spanning 4 continents and well over 60 countries. He has worked closely with several federal agencies (Department of Justice, Department of Defense, State Department) on developing and implementing strategic initiatives and programs aimed at the development of professional and transparent institutions that defend human rights, mitigate the threat of transnational crime, and terrorist extremism.

James is currently a Doctor of Education (ABD) candidate and holds a M.A. in Human Services from Liberty University, a graduate certificate in Public Safety from Virginia Commonwealth University, a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Liberty University.


The AMI Vaccination program is adaptable, flexible, scalable and can be quickly implemented across large geographic areas. AMI has a modular approach to vaccination clinic set up consisting of community-based, drive-thru and mobile clinics.

Surgical Services

AMI has the capability to provide a range of surgical services in mobile facilities or using existing infrastructure. Surgical specialty services are available but the focus is Damage Control Surgery (DCS) and Damage Control Resuscitation (DCR).

  • Forward Surgical Teams: independent fixed facility or mobile emergency surgical units to save life, limb, and eyesight
  • Surgical teams to augment existing capabilities and support or relieve the existing surgical workforce
  • Mass casualty support

Refugee Health Services

AMI is dedicated to addressing the full-spectrum of healthcare needs for displaced people by augmenting the existing healthcare workforce or independently providing:

  • Infectious Disease Screenings, including COVID-19, HIV and TB
  • Mental Health Wellness and Counseling
  • Vaccination updates as well as per host country requirements

  • Medical examinations, including tracking and monitoring physical health

AMI provides medical solutions and services to some of the most remote and challenging environments in the world. To date, the company has delivered healthcare solutions to over 140 clinical settings on 5 continents involving in excess of 10,000 providers.
