Pennsylvania is seeing a rise in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations. The state is reporting 6,000 new COVID-19 cases every single day, up 60% from 2 weeks ago. 46,000 students from around the world will be returning to State College this week despite the spike. MSNBC reported live from a former Sears automotive center turned COVID-19 testing site by AMI Expeditionary Healthcare.
“Everybody wants to get back to normal, we are in a position now where we have to be masking and getting vaccinated… we are not quite there yet, but close. We still have to be vigilant.” stated AMI’s Michelle Mitinger, Team Lead & Nurse.
AMI has deployed thousands of clinicians, administrative and logistical personnel to support federal, state and county COVID-19 responses across the U.S. and throughout the world.
