AMI South Sudan (AMISS) staff participated in a three-day hygienist course conducted by the South Sudan Ministry of Health. “Training and development and staying on top of best practices are essential to our organization. Instead of just training cleaners, we decided to make this training available to everyone. Any one of our team could be at risk at some point, for example, drivers taking PCR samples to Med Blue, etc. We want what is best for everyone,” shares Dawie van der Merwe, AMISS Country Manager.
All AMISS staff will earn a hygienist certificate, adding to their expansive medical credentials. AMISS is a full-service medical, trauma assistance, and remote medical support provider capable of initiating critical care and management of life-threatening trauma and medical cases, including malaria, heart attacks, cardiac arrest, and strokes.
