When the Covid 19 pandemic set in and our lives were put completely in limbo, I felt compelled to help in any way I could. Through AMI, I was able to connect with a culture and people that I would have never gotten to know otherwise. With AMI I was able to serve a community that, despite a fantastic health system, was not equipped to handle a large surge in critical patients. The opportunity strikes at the core of why I became a physician, to serve others. I worked alongside a very diverse group of doctors, nurses and support staff to deliver high quality care in a truly remarkable location. With the diversity I experienced, I saw a wonderful commonality. We are a group of different cultures, with different languages harmoniously leaning on each other’s strengths to advance the health of the community. Through the leadership and opportunity that AMI provided, the community I served is better, and as a person and physician I am better.

AMI

AMI has become my second family. I have worked with few companies before I joined AMI, but there is just something about AMI that doesn’t let me look for other opportunities. The platform the opportunity the experience I have gained working with AMI is something which will always remain close to my heart.

What do I love about AMI? Well, there are many things that I love about AMI. But one thing that I love the most is that when you keep working with certain people in the company (I mean if there are 100s of people in the company you don’t interact or work with all of them) they become more than just a colleague. And they always have your back. AMI has not only backed me up as an employee but like a family when I needed personal assistance. This is something you don’t experience in every company.

My favorite thing about doing my job is the feeling I get after knowing that I have saved someone’s life when I provide or arrange medical evacuation for a sick patient. The feeling that I get knowing that I made a difference in someone’s life.

My coworkers are a bunch of awesome people I have ever worked with. They can be irritating and annoying sometimes, but it’s all part of the game. I guess when we have too much of dessert we would want to try some savory snacks haha I was told by my awesomest Managing Director Mr Mike Asimos before I joined AMI that I am not just joining a job but a life changing career. I couldn’t agree with him more which I realize now. I don’t know what my future holds for me, but the working experience and the people at AMI will always remain close to my heart.

I want to thank AMI for this working experience. I thought the team came together well, and our focus was definitely on excellent patient support. I felt taken care of, especially regarding having adequate PPE, when going into the hot zone. I would gladly work for AMI again.
