Part 1: In the beginning… we were there
The novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) dominated 2020. Chairman, CEO and Founder of AMI, Dr. Andrew Walker speaks candidly about the start of the outbreak and how it began to turn into a worldwide pandemic. As the single holder of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) contract to provide Disaster Medical Teams, AMI started deploying clinicians in February 2020 to Washington and California.
Part 2: Crisis Response
Dr. Andrew Walker, AMI’s Chairman, CEO and Founder and Dr. Tom Crabtree, AMI’s Group Medical Director share how they were contacted by federal, state, county, and the private sector to utilize their crisis response expertise. AMI is on the frontlines developing urgent care centers, alternate care centers, intensive care units, as well as COVID-19 testing and vaccination sites around the country and beyond.
